Objectives

Agri Industries Vikas Chamber (AIVC) is committed to fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability in the Indian agriculture sector through strategic interventions. The key objectives of AIVC include:


1. Policy Advocacy & Industry Development

  • Collaborate with the central and state governments to influence policy reforms in agriculture.
  • Advocate for sustainable farming practices, rural development, and farmer welfare programs.
  • Support the formulation and execution of agriculture trade policies, subsidies, and incentives.

2. Capacity Building & Skill Development

  • Partner with NSDC and other training institutions to enhance farmer and agripreneur skills.
  • Conduct workshops, training programs, and certification courses for farmers, agri-startups, and rural youth.
  • Promote financial literacy and digital tools for farmers to access markets and credit.

3. Market Linkages & Export Promotion

  • Bridge the gap between farmers, industries, and international markets to boost agri-exports.
  • Facilitate partnerships between FPOs, MSMEs, cooperatives, and corporate buyers.
  • Promote organic farming, value-added processing, and global trade opportunities.

4. Technology & Innovation in Agriculture

  • Encourage the adoption of precision farming, AI, IoT, and blockchain in agriculture.
  • Work with Agri-Tech startups to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Promote the use of drones, automated irrigation, and weather forecasting tools.

5. Sustainability & Climate Resilient Agriculture

  • Implement initiatives focused on water conservation, soil health, and climate-resilient crops.
  • Promote organic and regenerative farming to reduce environmental impact.
  • Encourage renewable energy solutions in farming, such as solar-powered irrigation systems.

Mandate

AIVC operates as a Section 8 organization, aligning its activities with national and global agricultural priorities. The Chamber’s mandate includes:


  • Supporting Government Programs: Align with the objectives of PM-Kisan, Agri-Export Policy, and National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.
  • Facilitating Public-Private Partnerships (PPP): Engage with government agencies, corporate sectors, and financial institutions for joint agricultural projects.
  • Empowering Farmers & Rural Enterprises: Strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), women entrepreneurs, and rural agribusinesses.
  • Ensuring Transparency & Compliance: Adhere to NSE SSE norms, UN partnership guidelines, and ethical business practices.
  • Bridging Gaps in Agri-Value Chains: Improve farm-to-market connectivity, reducing post-harvest losses and ensuring fair pricing for farmers.
